Behind the Beard is a Musical Genius campaign for the Houston Symphony's Best of Brahms concerts. Each beard has a quote from composer, Johannes Brahms printed on the back. The beards were handed out after concerts and at Houston's Theater District Open House. Patrons were encouraged to upload pictures and videos wearing the beards to the Symphony's Facebook page. From the stage, CEO, Mark Hanson, photographed the packed house, with their beards, at the start of the free performance during the Theater District Open House.
